Jesus is our passion
We love Jesus. Not 'religiously', but actively in a real relationship. The fact is, Jesus has called you and me into a living relationship and not a ritual one. There is no other reason why we would do what we do. Our aim is that you would experience the love of God in an honest and truthful way. God chose to express His love through Jesus Christ, and now He chooses people to proclaim His message on the earth. Jesus said "as the Father has sent me, I am sending you" John 20:21.
People are our purpose
Yes, people - that is why we're here! With that in mind, you are our ultimate purpose as to why we live out the message of Christ. No more will we remain satisfied with the ordinary or the status quo. We are fully convinced that the reality of knowing God and what He has plannedfor your life will bring wholeness to you. Jim Elliot prayed "I seek not a long life, but a full one, like you, Lord Jesus".
What we believe
Bible: We believe that the bible is the inspired infallible word of God - and stands alone, proving itself. It is the source of logic, reason, love and any other type of abstract reality. We know that some question man's ability to interpret the bible; however by God's grace we are able to teach and instruct the relevance of God's word to modern times. Hebrews 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:16, 17; 2 Peter 1:20, 21; Matthew 5:18; John 16:12, 13
Salvation: We believe that it is by God's grace we have been saved, by faith. Not by our own works, but by the expectance of His Lordship and grace. Ephesians 2:8–10; John 1:12; Ephesians 1:7; 1 Peter 1:18–19
Trinity: We believe in the triune God. Not three gods but one God, coexistent in three persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Deuteronomy 6:4; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Matthew 3:16-17
Participation: We believe in God's ability to heal, restore and deliver. We believe that Jesus has given authority to his people to do these things. Therefore we must not hold back what he desires to do through us. 1 Corinthians 12:7, 11, 13; Ephesians 4:7–8; John 15:7; 1 John 5:14, 15; James 5:14
Church: When you think of the church, most likely you think of something unbiblical. The bible never calls the "church" some type of building or government. The "church" are those who the bible refers "those who profess and accept the Gospel." 1 Corinthians 1:2
Church assembly: We believe that the "church" should not neglect the time of teaching, fellowship and worship. The book of Acts sets the stage for us today and not the traditional things created by man.
Acts 2:42-47
